D'Angelo Russell (knee) ruled out for Timberwolves on Sunday
Minnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Denver Nuggets for a planned rest day.
Russell's status was uncertain after missing practice for a rest day on Saturday, but he has been downgraded to out and will miss Sunday's game against Denver as he continues to deal with knee soreness.
Russell is averaging 23.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 38.3 FanDuel points per game this season.
