Wendell Carter Jr. (ankle) expected back for Bulls on Saturday
Chicago Bulls power forward Wendell Carter Jr. (right ankle) said there's an "80-90 percent chance" he returns on Saturday against the New York Knicks.
Carter hasn't played since January 6. He will be on a minutes limit if he's cleared. Carter's return will likely send Daniel Gafford back to the second unit. Luke Kornet (ankle) may be done for the year, so Gafford should still see a decent role off the bench.
WCJ was averaging 28.8 FanDuel points before the injury. numberFire's models project him for 12.4 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.7 steals, and 1.3 blocks over the rest of the season.
