Lauri Markkanen (pelvis) returning to Bulls' lineup Wednesday following extended absence
Chicago Bulls power forward Lauri Markkanen (right pelvic stress reaction) is starting on Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Markkanen is returning to game action for the first time since January 22. He will be limited to 18-20 minutes Wednesday as the Bulls ease Markkanen back into the mix. Head coach Jim Boylen added that Wendell Carter Jr. will start and play 22-24 minutes. Otto Porter Jr. will log 20-22 minutes off the bench. Thaddeus Young may move back to the bench with Markkanen active.
