Portland's Jusuf Nurkic (leg) to make 2019-20 debut on March 15
Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic will return to the court for the first time in nearly a full year on March 15 against the Houston Rockets.
Nurkic broke both his left tibia and fibula on March 25, 2019, in a game against the Brooklyn Nets, and he hasn't seen live-game action since. But it seems that the Bosnian native is finally ready to make a return to the court, or at least he will be within the next 10 days. Nurkic will likely be eased in, but when he gets back to full health, he could take time away from Hassan Whiteside down low.
In 72 games last season, Nurkic averaged 15.6 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.4 blocks.
