Raptors' Marc Gasol looking slim
Toronto Raptors center Marc Gasol's face has looked slim on Zoom calls, according to head coach Nick Nurse.
What It Means:
"I think both him and Kyle [Lowry] look good," Nurse said. Gasol had just returned from an extended absence before the season was suspended. A lingering hamstring issue has limited the veteran big man to 36-of-64 games this season, but it sounds like Gasol is staying in shape. Serge Ibaka has benefitted the most from Gasol missing time this season.
Gasol was averaging 24.3 FanDuel points per game before the hiatus, ranking 19th among centers. He averaged 8.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.8 3-pointers in his last five games.
