Nets' Justin Anderson had COVID-19, is now recovered
Brooklyn Nets small forward Justin Anderson told reporters Wednesday that he tested positive for COVID-19 and has since recovered.
The Nets announced the signing of Anderson on July 18 as a reinforcement for the new-look squad, but he didn't participate in a team practice in Orlando until Tuesday. The delay wasn't known at the time, but now it's clear that he had to clear protocols associated with the virus. He won't participate in the scrimmage on Wednesday, as he needs to get his conditioning up to snuff first.
In three games with the Nets on a 10-day contract back in January, Anderson averaged 1.0 points per game with 0.7 rebounds and 2.8 FanDuel points.
