Kemba Walker joins Celtics' regular starters for Game 1 against 76ers

The Boston Celtics are starting Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward, Jayson Tatum, and Daniel Theis in Game 1 on Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers.

What It Means:

The Celtics sat out all of their starters and Marcus Smart on Friday in their final game before the playoffs. Walker's minutes were managed throughout seeding play due to chronic knee problems, but Celtics head coach Brad Stevens said that the veteran's knee is "fine" and he's "ready to roll" for the postseason without minute restrictions. Tremont Waters, Javonte Green, Romeo Langford (wrist), Semi Ojeleye, and Enes Kanter will all return to reserve roles on Monday.

numberFire's models expect Kemba to score 35.1 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,000 on Monday, making him our fourth-best value on the four-game slate. Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Celtics are 6.5-point favorites on Monday.
