Timberwolves' Karl-Anthony Towns tests positive for COVID-19
Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony has tested positive for COVID-19, he said through his Twitter account Friday.
This is why Friday's game between the Timberwolves and the Memphis Grizzlies was postponed. Contact tracing will likely start immediately, finding if any other members of the Timberwolves are close contacts and therefore high-risk. It's unclear how long Towns will be out, but 14 days or so seems to be a safe timeline. Ed Davis figures to start in his place whenever the Timberwolves are back in action.
In 4 games this season, Towns has averaged 22.0 points, 12.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.8 blocks and 50.6 FanDuel points.
