Bulls want Wendell Carter Jr. to stay around 20 minutes

The Chicago Bulls want power forward/center Wendell Carter Jr. to stay around 20 minutes, per head coach Billy Donovan.

What It Means:

Carter Jr. isn't on a strict limit, but the "goal" is to keep him in the 20-minute range. “Anywhere from 18 to 22, 24, somewhere in there,” Donovan said. Carter's conditioning is a work in progress and he doesn't expect any major gains in the coming days. "Next game, it may go up one or two minutes,” Carter said. “And then next game, one or two minutes. So it’s just based off how I feel and how fast I can get back in shape." Carter provided 11 points with 9 rebounds, an assist, and a steal over 20 minutes on Monday in his first game back from a lengthy absence for a thigh injury. The Bulls' next game will be against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday following some rescheduling by the league.

WCJ scored 22.3 FanDuel points on Monday and he's averaging 1.0 FanDuel points per minute for the season. Looking ahead to Friday's game, the 76ers are allowing the fewest FanDuel points per game to the center position and third-fewest to the power forward position.
