Damian Lillard ruled out for Trail Blazers in back-to-back Friday
Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard (knee) will not play Friday against the Orlando Magic.
Lillard has been dealing with a variety of minor injuries over the past weeks and the Trail Blazers are going to give him the night off on the second end of a back-to-back. Norman Powell is questionable to make his team debut after being acquired from the Toronto Raptors on Thursday. Anfernee Simons could see an uptick in minutes and most of the offense should run through C.J. McCollum.
numberFire’s models now project McCollum for 40.9 FanDuel points versus the Magic and he has a salary of $7,500 on Friday’s 11-game slate. He is currently one of our top-four values at the shooting guard position on Friday.
