DeMarcus Cousins, Clippers discussing deal
The Los Angeles Clippers and free agent forward/center DeMarcus Cousins are discussing a 10-day contract, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Woj adds that no decision is expected to be made until next week. Cousins would provide depth for the Clippers behind Ivica Zubac while Serge Ibaka (back) is sidelined. The veteran big man was released by the Houston Rockets in late February when the team decided it wanted to go smaller and faster in the frontcourt.
Cousins was averaging 25.5 FanDuel points in 20.2 minutes per game for the Rockets while shooting a career-low 37.6 percent from the field.
