Blake Griffin getting breather for Brooklyn Monday in back-to-back

Brooklyn Nets forward/center Blake Griffin (injury maintenance) will not play Monday against the New York Knicks.

What It Means:

Griffin will take a seat on the second leg of the back-to-back. James Harden (hamstring) is set to return from a two-game absence and figures to be the one to replace Griffin in the starting lineup. Nicolas Claxton and Jeff Green could see additional minutes on Monday with Griffin out.

numberFire’s models project Harden for 49.9 FanDuel points versus the Knicks and he has a salary of $11,500 on Monday’s seven-game slate. The Nets have an implied total of 111.3 points, per our NBA Heat Map.
