Tyler Johnson (knee) out Monday for Nets

The Brooklyn Nets have ruled out guard Tyler Johnson (knee strain) for Monday night's game against the New York Knicks.

What It Means:

Johnson left Saturday's game against the Chicago Bulls early after what appeared to be a non-contact injury, so it's no surprise that he is inactive for tonight's contest against the Knicks. Johnson at least appears to have avoided the worst with his injury for now, but we'll learn more about the severity later in the week.

Johnson wasn't likely to see much time against the Knicks tonight anyway with Kyrie Irving and James Harden active. Harden is coming off of a rest day and is projected to finish as the top shooting guard on tonight's slate with 49.9 fantasy points. He has a fitting $11,500 salary on FanDuel.
