New Orleans Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball will not play Friday in the team's game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

As feared, Ball is sitting due to the hip injury that had his status for Friday in doubt. With the UCLA product sidelined, Kira Lewis or Isaiah Thomas could be thrust into the starting point guard role.
