Golden State's James Wiseman suffers meniscus injury in right knee
Golden State Warriors center James Wiseman suffered a meniscus injury in his right knee and has no timetable for a return.
Wiseman suffered the injury early during last night's game against the Houston Rockets, and testing today revealed the extent of the injury. This is obviously a tough blow for the rookie, who impressed throughout the year as the second overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft.
Wiseman has averaged 19.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.6 blocks on a per-36 minute basis this season. It's unclear if Wiseman will be able to return this season, but expect Kevon Looney to work into the starting lineup for as long as Wiseman is sidelined.
