Jamal Murray injures knee late in Nuggets loss
Denver Nuggets shooting guard Jamal Murray appeared to suffer a significant knee injury at the end of Monday's loss to the Golden State Warriors.
Murray had to be helped off the court and Nuggets head coach Mike Malone said the team is awaiting results on an MRI. "He just came back, he was gone for four days. His [right] knee had been bothering him…just an awful feeling," Malone lamented. "Keep Jamal in your thoughts and prayers and hopefully we will get some good news." Facundo Campazzo will likely take over as the Nuggets' starting point guard and Monte Morris should see a larger role with the second unit.
Campazzo is averaging 23.9 FanDuel points over four starts this season. Nikola Jokic is leading the Nuggets with a usage differential of plus-5.3 percent and averaging 1.6 FanDuel points per minute with Murray off the court this season.
