Deni Avdija (ankle) won't return for Washington Wednesday
Washington Wizards forward Deni Avdija will not return to Wednesday's game against the Golden State Warriors.
What It Means:
Avdija was wheelchaired to the locker room after hurting his ankle. Without speculating, we'll just say that it looked ugly. Davis Bertans started the second half in Avdija's place, and the veteran would likely continue to see added minutes should the rookie miss an extended period of time.
Before exiting, Avdija had 6 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists.
