Kemba Walker replacing Payton Pritchard at Celtics' point versus Suns
Boston Celtics point guard Kemba Walker will start on Thursday against the Phoenix Suns.
What It Means:
Walker will reclaim the starting point guard spot from Payton Pritchard after missing the last game with an illness. Ditto for Marcus Smart. Jaylen Brown is out with a shoulder issue and Walker tends to see an uptick in usage when Brown is off the court.
Walker's usage rate increases by 5.4 percentage points with Brown off the court this season, according to RotoGrinders. numberFire’s models project Kemba for 36.3 FanDuel points versus the Suns and he has a salary of $6,900 on Thursday. He is our third-best point-per-dollar play at the point on tonight's six-game slate.
