Christian Wood (ankle) expected to return for Rockets Tuesday
Houston Rockets forward/center Christian Wood (ankle) is expected to return for Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Wood practiced on Monday and is no longer on the injury report after missing just one game. D.J. Wilson will likely revert back to a reserve role after shining in a spot-start on Saturday with a career-high 25 points. Kelly Olynyk figures to lose some playing time and there will be fewer touches for KJ Martin.
numberFire's models project Wood for 42.1 FanDuel points versus the Timberwolves and he has a $7,700 salary on Tuesday's six-game slate. Minnesota ranks in the bottom-10 in FanDuel points allowed to centers this season, and Wood is averaging 1.3 FanDuel points per minute versus bottom-10 units this season.
