Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (illness) is questionable to play Thursday against the Miami Heat.
What It Means:
Embiid sat out Tuesday in the second leg of a back-to-back due to illness. Thursday is the front end of a back-to-back, so look for him to be held out of at least one contest. Mike Scott has been the preferred starter at center in place of Embiid with Dwight Howard playing more off the bench.
The Heat are allowing the sixth-fewest FanDuel points per game to the center position this season. Ben Simmons is averaging almost the exact same amount of FanDuel points per game with Embiid (37.4) as he is without him (37.1).
