Kyrie Irving (ankle) X-rays negative, uncertain for Nets in Game 5
Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving underwent X-rays on his right ankle that came back negative.
Irving injured his ankle in the second quarter of Sunday's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. He reportedly left the building using crutches and with his right ankle in a walking boot, likely indicating that he will not be available for Game 5 on Tuesday back in Brooklyn. Mike James started the second half in place of Irving on Sunday. James, Bruce Brown, Joe Harris, and Landry Shamet could all see larger roles if Irving and James Harden (hamstring) remain out.
numberFire's models currently expect Kyrie to score 45.6 FanDuel points on Tuesday if he plays. James finished with 11.1 FanDuel points in 20.0 minutes on Sunday.
