Metta World Peace expected to start Tuesday for Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers forward Metta World Peace is expected to start in place of Kobe Bryant (shoulder) for Tuesday's game versus the Sacramento Kings.

What It Means:

Bryant hasn't officially been ruled out yet, but MWP said he was told he'd start for Kobe tonight, so it sounds like the Black Mamba is set to spend Tuesday's game on the sidelines. World Peace has averaged 11.7 points, 2.3 triples, 2.0 boards, 0.7 steals and 1.0 block in his 3 starts this season, so he's someone to consider in DFS with a favorable matchup against Sacramento.

World Peace owns a -2.1 nERD, which ranks 97th, in 25 games played this season. He's averaging 4.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game while posting a career low 40.9 True Shooting Percentage. It's a small sample size, but World Peace's True Shooting Percentage in starts this season is a whopping 80.4.
