Alexis Ajinca (shoulder) will not play Monday for Pelicans
New Orleans Pelicans forward/center Alexis Ajinca (shoulder) will not play Monday against the Chicago Bulls.
Well, that makes 10 Pelicans out with injuries. It'll be more Dante Cunningham than usual with plenty of minutes at center. Omer Asik will get the start with Kendrick Perkins backing him up. Asik isn't a reliable option.
Our models project Cunningham to have 8.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.1 3-pointers tonight against the Bulls. He's outside of the top-100 with a -3.0 nERD for the year. Ajinca ranks 88th with a -1.3 nERD.
