Nuggets: Jamal Murray (knee) could return for first round
Denver Nuggets shooting guard Jamal Murray (knee) could return during the first round of the playoffs versus the Golden State Warriors, per Nuggets president of basketball operations Tim Connelly.
Connelly said that Murray is in the "red zone" in terms of his return, and whether or not he plays this season is "up to him." Other reports have claimed Murray is doubtful for the first round of the playoffs, but this paints an entirely different picture. Monte Morris will continue to start at point guard until Murray is ready, while Nikola Jokic basically does everything else on offense for the Nuggets.
Morris averaged 29.9 minutes and 24.7 FanDuel points per game during the regular season while registering a 17.4% usage rate.
