Khris Middleton (wrist) to miss beginning of Bucks' season
Milwaukee Bucks guard/forward Khris Middleton (wrist) is expected to miss the first few weeks of the regular season, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.
Middleton is still rehabbing from offseason wrist surgery and it looks like he may not make his season debut until November. Pat Connaughton (calf) will also miss multiple weeks to start the year, so there should be early-soon boosts for Jordan Nwora and Grayson Allen. Middleton has averaged between 20.1-20.9 points each of the last three seasons and he set a career-best with 2.5 triples per game last year.
numberFire's models project Middleton to average 21.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.2 steals, and 2.6 3-pointers per game this season while shooting 44.8% from the field and 36.0% from beyond the arc.
