Ben Simmons (knee) could play off Brooklyn bench Monday
Brooklyn Nets forward Ben Simmons (knee) could play off the bench Monday versus the Dallas Mavericks, reports Shams Charania via The Rally.
Simmons previously said he expected to be limited to around 20 minutes on Monday after a four-game absence, so Edmond Sumner might start again. Simmons has a 13.1% usage rate this season and is averaging 27.6 FanDuel points per game with 6.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 7.3 assists, and 1.2 steals. His previous career-low for scoring was 14.3 points per game last season.
numberFire's models project Simmons for 20.4 minutes and 20.3 FanDuel points on Monday, and he has a $6,900 salary on the Main slate. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Nets’ implied total (105.25) is second-lowest in the league today.
