Warriors demoting James Wiseman to G League
The Golden State Warriors are assigning center James Wiseman to the G-League, per head coach Steve Kerr.
"We will keep him there for an extended period to get really good practice time and some games," Kerr said after Monday's win over the San Antonio Spurs. "It's not going to be one game and come back. We want to give him 10 straight days, something like that." Wiseman logged nine minutes on Monday, but he was a DNP-CD in three consecutive games before that. Anthony Lamb, Jonathan Kuminga, and JaMychal Green should continue to handle things in the frontcourt for the Warriors' second unit.
Wiseman is averaging 6.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 0.4 blocks in 13.4 minutes per game this season. He's recording 1.01 FanDuel points per minute, so Wiseman has at least been efficient from a DFS perspective.
