Lakers' Wenyen Gabriel (shoulder) out at least a week
Los Angeles Lakers power forward Wenyen Gabriel (shoulder) will be re-evaluated in about a week, according to the team.
Gabriel was initially listed as questionable for Tuesday's game versus the Cleveland Cavaliers due to a shoulder injury, but he will miss at least the next four contests. It's not clear when the 25-year-old forward suffered the injury. Gabriel's absence won't impact the Lakers' rotation much, but Troy Brown Jr. and Austin Reaves could pick up a few more minutes.
Over the last five contests, Gabriel averaged an elite 1.18 FanDuel points per minute, but he only played 13.8 minutes per game. There are only three NBA games on Tuesday, but the Lakers-Cavs matchup has the highest total (225.5) of the three.
