Patrick Beverley (knee) returning to Lakers lineup Thursday
Los Angeles Lakers guard Patrick Beverley (knee) will start on Thursday against the Indiana Pacers, per head coach Darvin Ham.
Beverley will join Dennis Schroder in the starting backcourt after sitting out last game. LeBron James (ankle) is a game-time decision, so it remains to be seen whether Schroder will be replacing Troy Brown Jr. or Rui Hachimura in the starting lineup. If James is out, that would create more ball-handling opportunities for Schroder and everyone else.
numberFire's models project Bev for 25.9 minutes and 21.4 FanDuel points on Thursday, and he has a $4,800 salary in a plus matchup. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Lakers have the second-highest implied total (121.5) out of 14 active teams today and the game total (240.5) is the highest on the board.
