Ben Simmons (knee) unlikely back Saturday for Brooklyn
Brooklyn Nets forward Ben Simmons (knee) is expected to remain out Saturday versus the Washington Wizards, per head coach Jacque Vaughn.
Simmons underwent a recent MRI on his left knee that came back clean, per Vaughn, but he's still headed for a fourth straight absence on Saturday. His next opportunity to play will be on Monday versus the Los Angeles Clippers. Cam Thomas and Patty Mills will continue to have more minutes available without Simmons.
Thomas is averaging an additional 9.8 FanDuel points per game without Simmons (17.9) this season. Over the last two contests, he registered 20.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2.5 3-pointers in 23.5 minutes per game, good for an average of 25.3 FanDuel points.
