Ben Simmons (knee) confirms Tuesday return for Nets
Brooklyn Nets forward Ben Simmons (knee) confirmed he will play on Tuesday against the Phoenix Suns.
Simmons is set to return after sitting out the past five games. Kevin Durant (knee) is still sidelined and Spencer Dinwiddie (trade) might not be available yet, so Simmons could see an uptick in usage on Tuesday night. Cam Thomas, who scored over 40 points for a second straight game on Monday, and Edmond Sumner will likely be impacted the most by Simmons' return.
numberFire's models project Simmons for 26.3 minutes and 29.9 FanDuel points on Tuesday, and he has a $6,900 salary on the Main slate. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Nets’ implied total (109.75) and the game total (225.0) are the lowest on the board for today's six-game slate.
