Giannis Antetokounmpo (back) doubtful for Bucks in Game 2
Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (back) is doubtful for Game 2 against the Miami Heat on Wednesday.
Antetokounmpo is trending toward not playing after taking a hard fall in Game 1 on Sunday. X-Rays and MRI results came back clean, but he was unable to practice on Tuesday. Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer said the team will continue to evaluate Antetokounmpo leading into Game 2 on Wednesday night. Bobby Portis will likely start if Antetokounmpo is unavailable. There would also be more opportunities for Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, and Brook Lopez on offense. Joe Ingles, Jae Crowder, and Pat Connaughton could also benefit.
Prior to this report, numberFire's models projected Giannis for 34.4 minutes and 52.4 FanDuel points on Wednesday. He had 6 points (2-4 field goals, 2-4 free throws) and 3 rebounds in 10.8 minutes before leaving Game 1 early.
