Patrick Beverley headed to 76ers Saturday
Free agent guard Patrick Beverley has signed with the Philadelphia 76ers, according to his own podcast.
The eccentric veteran has played with 5 different teams in his 11-year NBA career to this point. Now, he will become a member of the 76ers, who are trying to work on a future without James Harden; he requested a trade a few days prior. Beverley will likely be what he's always been - a strong wing defender in the starting five.
In 67 games last season with the Lakers and Bulls, Beverley averaged 6.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 18.5 FanDuel points.
