Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose will sit out Sunday in New York
New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony (back) and guard Derrick Rose (knee) will not play on Sunday against the Boston Celtics.
The Knicks are going nowhere and they have been pretty cautious with their veterans with nothing left to play for but draft positioning. Without Rose and Anthony on Friday, Sasha Vujacic and Ron Baker started in the backcourt and played big minutes while Mingdaugas Kuzminskas didn't see the floor. Check and see who is starting to see who will fill in for Anthony, but Baker will likely start again for Rose.
Our models expect Baker to post 11.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.5 steals over 34.1 minutes against the Celtics.
