Markelle Fultz to meet with Lakers
Former Washington Huskies guard and NBA draft prospect Markelle Fultz will meet with the Los Angeles Lakers this week.
Fultz is expected to go first overall to the Boston Celtics, for whom he worked out a week ago. The Lakers will be just the second team Fultz has worked out for prior to the June 22nd draft.
In dealing with minor injuries, Fultz played just 25 games this past season with Washington. But the freshman combo-guard managed averages of 23.2 points, 5.9 assists and 5.7 rebounds while earning a player efficiency rating of 27.9.
