Heat deal Josh McRoberts to Mavericks
The Miami Heat have finalized a trade that sends Josh McRoberts, and a 2023 second round pick, to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for A.J. Hammons.
For Miami, shedding McRoberts' $6 million salary for the 2017-18 is the biggest takeaway. Hammons is likely to be waived in the coming days.
In three seasons in Miami, the oft-injured McRoberts played just 81 games and 1,272 total minutes. In addition, he never accounted for a positive nERD in his time with the Heat.
