Pelicans waiving Jordan Crawford
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the New Orleans Pelicans are waiving guard Jordan Crawford.
With the news of New Orleans signing veteran Jameer Nelson, they needed to make room on the roster and that comes at the expense of Crawford. At 27, Crawford was set to become a free agent following this season. He's only guaranteed $250,000 of his $1.7 million contract since he'll be waived prior to November 9th.
Through 2 games with New Orleans, Crawford averaged 9 points, 5 assists and 15.7 FanDuel points per game across 37 total minutes this season.
