Josh Smith active for Pelicans on Saturday night
New Orleans Pelicans forward Josh Smith will be active on Saturday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, reports The Times-Picayune's Will Guillory.
Smith was just officially signed by the Pelicans earlier today. Coach Alvin Gentry is uncertain about his minutes going into tonight's game, which leaves the chance that Smith doesn't see the floor as he gets ready to return to the league. If anything, he would take a few minutes away from Dante Cunningham at the backup four spot.
Our models project Smith for just 1.1 minutes, 0.4 points and 0.8 FanDuel points tonight. He's not on the DFS radar in most cases.
