Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams will not play on Friday night versus the Los Angeles Clippers.
What It Means:
Adams will miss his first game of the season as he nurses a calf contusion. No replacement starter was immediately named with Nick Collison, Dakari Johnson, and Patrick Patterson viable options. All three big men will see an uptick in minutes with Adams out on Friday.
Adams has averaged 12.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game for 30.8 FanDuel points per game this season.
