Pelicans signing Terrence Jones to a 10-day contract
The New Orleans Pelicans are signing free agent forward Terrence Jones to a 10-day contract per Shams Charania of The Vertical.
What It Means:
Terrence Jones has been out of the NBA all season but did play in 51 games for the Pelicans last season. The forward is still only 26-years-old and could help New Orleans fill up their frontcourt depth after they missed out on signing Greg Monroe.
Jones averaged 11.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks in 24.8 minutes per game for the Pels last season.
