Suns' Josh Gray logs 31 minutes in blowout loss to Spurs on Wednesday
In a 129-81 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, Phoenix Suns guard Josh Gray had 9 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals in 31 minutes off the bench.
Tyler Ulis left the game early with back spasms, and Devin Booker (hip) didn't suit up, leaving Gray as the next man up in an ugly loss to the Spurs. Gray was called up from the G League just last week. The Suns are expected to sign another point guard, so even if Ulis remains out, Gray is unlikely to see long-term value.
Despite getting thrown into the fire on Wednesday, Gray managed to put up 35.3 FanDuel points. However, he shot just 4-of-16 from the field.
