Tiago Splitter announces retirement from NBA
Free agent center Tiago Splitter announced his retirement from the NBA on Sunday.
At 33, Splitter was hoping to find a team prior to the season. Nothing ever happened and he's remained out of the league working as a reporter. Splitter last played for the Philadelphia 76ers, while he was best known for his five years with the San Antonio Spurs.
Over 355 games, Splitter averaged 7.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in his 7-year career.
