Lakers' Kobe Bryant expected to play 30 minutes Friday

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant (back, knee, age) is planning on playing his season average of 30.4 minutes per game against the Toronto Raptors on Friday, according to Lakers' coach Byron Scott.

What It Means:

Bryant missed this past Monday's contest with the Phoenix Suns after playing almost 36 minutes against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. It seems Scott wants to be a little more conservative Friday. Bryant's return sends Metta World Peace back to fantasy irrelevance.

Bryant is off to a slow start this season, averaging 16.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. His horrid -8.0 nERD ranks 148th. We project him to score 14.8 points (on 39.4 percent shooting), dish out 4.5 assists and pull down 3.6 rebounds on Friday.
