March Madness Betting Guide: Elite Eight, Saturday

Will we get some upsets in Saturday's loaded Elite Eight games or should we lean on the favorites?

Thursday's Sweet 16 games gave us a couple exciting finishes, one very high scoring overtime affair, and two games where defense was the clear priority over actually scoring points. With Oregon out of the Big Dance, there is nobody left to be considered a Cinderella and all the teams remaining spent the majority of the season in the AP Top 25.

With both 1 seeds and 3 seeds moving on to Saturday's Elite Eight contests, we will have a battle of contrasting styles in each game and what appears to be some very close games if you look at where the betting lines were set. With the blue bloods playing on Friday and Sunday, Saturday will be an opportunity for two of these four schools -- with a total of five Final Fours among them -- to add a banner to the rafters and get one step closer to cutting down the nets in Minneapolis.

Using our models as a guide, here are our best bets for Saturday.
