Marcus Keene goes wild for Central Michigan on Wednesday

Central Michigan Chippewas junior guard Marcus Keene could not be stopped as he scored a career-high 44 points in Wednesday's win over Montana State.

What It Means:

More of the same from the leading scorer in Division I. Wednesday's performance was his second 40-plus game of the season, and ninth time he dropped 30-plus in 12 games. Keene was 13-for-27 from the floor while sinking 13-of-17 attempts from the free-throw line, both season-highs in attempts. The former Youngstown State player added nine rebounds and six assists to an already stacked stat line.

Keene is averaging an NCAA-best 31.9 points per game while posting 2.6 offensive win shares and a .647 true shooting percentage.
