Ryan Luther to miss at least two weeks for Pitt
Pittsburgh Panthers junior forward Ryan Luther will miss at least the next two weeks with a foot injury, according to Craig Meyer of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
What It Means:
Luther hurt his foot in practice on Friday and missed Saturday's game against the Miami Hurricanes. Sheldon Jeter will see an increase in minutes to make up for the 20.5 per game Luther was playing this season. Saying Pitt has struggled recently would be putting it mildly as they have lost four of their past five in ACC play. They have four consecutive games versus top-30 opponents on tap and therefore can't afford a loss to the NC State Wolfpack on Tuesday.
Luther was averaging 6.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while shooting over 56 percent from the field.
