Egor Koulechov will transfer to Florida next season
Former Rice Owls junior forward Egor Koulechov will transfer to the Florida Gators as a graduate student and be eligible to play in in the 2017-18 season, per Jeff Goodman of ESPN.
What It Means:
Koulechov was one of the best players in Conference USA last season and will step into a significant role with the Gators next season after the departures of Canyon Berry, Devin Robinson, and Justin Leon.
Koulechov averaged 18.2 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 2.3 three-pointers per game for the Owls last season.
