It was a good day for long touchdown passes in Week 14, as the New England Patriots also wanted to get in on the fun. Quarterback Tom Brady has seen his deep passing drop off in both volume and effectiveness as he’s aged, but that doesn’t mean the wily old goat can’t drop a dime here or there.

With the Baltimore Ravens surging back to a three-point deficit late in the fourth quarter, the Patriots needed to put a stamp on the game. That’s just what they did on 1st-and-10 from their own 21-yard line, when they ran a three-wide vertical pattern that saw wide receiver Chris Hogan bust his coverage wide open.

Hogan was free from about 30 yards out, but only noticed he wasn’t being chased just as he crossed over the goal line with a 79-yard touchdown reception. Good hustle.
