2019 NFL Combine: 6 Players With the Most to Gain

A poor Senior Bowl has scouts questioning Will Grier's NFL potential. Can he turn the tide this week at the combine?

This year's edition of the NFL Scouting Combine will run from Tuesday, February 26 through Monday, March 4. Those interested in the event from a fantasy football perspective -- particularly dynasty league enthusiasts -- ought to tune in Friday and Saturday, when quarterbacks, running, wide receivers, and tight ends will be on full display.

While the merits of various workout results are always subject to debate, NFL teams clearly place significant value on not only interviewing the prospects but getting measurements of their size, speed, and strength; all of which is not possible to obtain -- at least accurately -- through watching tape.

For one reason or another, a prospect that puts up gaudy collegiate stats is not always capable of producing at the next level. By the same token, a prospect who excels at the Combine is not automatically destined for a gold jacket and a bust in Canton. Ideally, teams want to invest their highest draft capital in players who are both physically gifted and proven producers at the college level.

With that in mind, here are six players capable of pushing themselves up draft boards with a strong showing on the Lucas Oil Stadium turf as the league's top decision-makers gather in Indianapolis to see these tantalizing prospects get to work.
