FanDuel Single-Game Daily Fantasy Football Helper: Week 7 Sunday Night

Week 7's Sunday Night Football clash features an exciting showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys. Following the main slate of action, fantasy enthusiasts can stay involved throughout the night by playing in FanDuel's Sunday night's single-game contests.

For those unfamiliar, single-game slates feature five flex spots with identical scoring to the main slate. However, kickers are included in these contests and there is an "MVP" roster slot. The MVP receives 1.5-times his total fantasy points, making this spot crucial.

Bookmakers currently peg the Cowboys as 2.5-point favorites with a 49.5-point over/under. With a projected high-scoring affair in store, here are the notable matchups to target on this slate.

MVP Consideration

Dak Prescott ($15,500) - With quarterbacks carrying elevated importance on single-game slates, Dak Prescott stands out above Carson Wentz. According to our schedule-adjusted metrics, the Eagles rank 24th in pass defense, setting up Prescott to produce. Prescott currently ranks third in passing yards with 1,884 and now gets Amari Cooper and Randall Cobb back from injury. Despite the hefty price, Prescott warrants consideration in the MVP slot.

Ezekiel Elliott ($14,500) - The other Cowboy expected to see a large workload is Ezekiel Elliott. Last week, Elliott recorded 28 carries with six targets in the pass game. While Philadelphia ranks sixth in run defense, Elliott's massive volume keeps him in play as an MVP play.

Zach Ertz ($11,000) - Coming in a little cheaper, Zach Ertz remains the top pass catcher in the pass game for Philly. Ertz currently has 54 targets to his name and ranks fifth in receiving yards (366). According to our metrics, the Cowboys sit 30th in pass defense, affording Ertz a solid matchup. Playing as Wentz's top receiving option, Ertz provides a good floor and ceiling at a solid price.

Value Plays

Jordan Howard ($10,000) - Looking at plays around $10,000, Jordan Howard stands out as the Eagles' lead runner. Last week, Howard out-snapped Miles Sanders 63 percent to 30-percent. He also recorded 13 carries to Sanders' three. The Cowboys currently rank 21st in run defense, but Howard's price keeps him in play as a value.

Randall Cobb ($7,500) - Looking for a cheap attachment attachment to Prescott, Cobb returns from his injury and remains priced at $7,500. Cobb currently ranks third on the Cowboys with 27 targets. With the Eagles checking in 24th in pass defense, Cobb looks like a calculated dart throw in this matchup.

Dallas Goedert ($7,000) - With DeSean Jackson still nursing an abdominal injury, the Eagles have moved to 12-personnel as their base package. Last week, Goedert played 70 percent of the Eagles' snaps and received eight targets. Significantly cheaper than Ertz, Goedert remains a sharp play at $7,000.
